Kit or tester: which should you choose?

A kit is designed to introduce you to a fragrance house: the Rhus Midoria kits contain 5 samples of 2 ml each (28 per cent fragrance oils, according to the brand), whilst the Perfi kit contains 6 samples of 3 ml each (33 per cent).

The individual sample is ideal if you’ve already spotted a fragrance you like: 2 ml for most HelloHelen fragrances (€3), 3 ml for Bibliothèque de Parfum and some HelloHelen fragrances (€5). See all samples.

How to test a sample

Spray or apply the fragrance to clean skin, on the inside of your wrist or in the crook of your elbow, then forget about it. Smell it after ten minutes, after an hour, and then at the end of the day: it is the base notes that will linger. One fragrance a day, or one per wrist at most, otherwise the notes will clash.

Frequently asked questions

How much is in a sample?

Our individual samples contain 2 or 3 ml, depending on the fragrance. The kits contain 5 samples of 2 ml (Rhus Midoria) or 6 samples of 3 ml (Perfi). This is enough to wear each fragrance several times.

Are samples provided free of charge?

Two samples are included with every order: you can specify your preferences in your basket or let us choose for you. The kits and samples on this page are subject to a charge, starting at €3.

How do you know which perfumes to try?

The fragrance quiz presents you with three perfumes across six questions, along with their testers where available. You can also start by selecting the fragrance families you already wear.

What are the delivery charges?

Delivery is free on orders of €50 or more. For orders below this amount, delivery costs €5.95 within France and €10.90 within the European Union. Orders are dispatched within 24 working hours from Liverdun.
